MigmaWalktimeTM Installation

One system comes with two stereo cameras and one single board computer (SBC). One of these two stereo cameras should be installed at one side of a crosswalk. One mounting bracket is required to attach one stereo camera to the mounting pole such as pedestal or light pole.

In addition to the standard tools required for electrical device installation, one also needs to have gel-filled Cat5e cable suitable for ourdoor conduit use. A 4-conductor relay cable is required for the connection to pushbuttons. These components are illustrated in the photo below.

Stereo cameras will draw power from SBC or APS pushbuttons, and no additional power supplies are required. One SBC can provide power for all four stereo cameras connected to it.

The SBC has two RJ-45 connectors for the connections with stereo cameras. A dedicated Cat5e cable is pulled from the controller cabinet to the camera. SBC is placed inside tis cabinet. To connect the camera to the SBC, simply plug Cat5e cables into RJ-45 connectors, respectively.

The stereo camera is measured as 7 ½’’ x 5’’ x 3 ½’’ (L x W x H). The dimension of SBC is 9 ½’’ x 7 ½’’ x 3’’ (L x W x H). The SBC is small enough to fit in the pole-mounted cabinet.
